Las Salinas

Type of beach: Trendy
Location: South

Salinas beach forms the southernmost part of the island. It is named after the salt lakes in the south of Ibiza. It is a popular hangout for celebrities and is especially popular with soccer players. The water there is crystal clear and it is very nice to take a walk since the Ibiza Wildlife Conservation Area borders it. Salinas is also very popular with the club crowd. There are always famous DJs spinning at the beach bars Guarana, Malibu, the Jockey Club or our favorite Sa Trinxa, while your cocktail is brought to your lounge bed, really the ideal summer feeling! Las Salinas is also the stepping stone to tour Formentera by catamaran for a day. For a complete list of boats, check out the boat rental overview. This is a perfect beach to go to with kids. Check out more child-friendly beaches in Ibiza here.

On the rightmost side of the beach is a sailing school where you can take kite surfing lessons. This one is run by a nice Dutch guy.

Finally, a word of warning: like Es Cavallet, it can be quite crowded here in high season, including merchants looking to sell you anything and everything!

Location: 10-minute drive from Playa d’en Bossa and Ibiza town.
Facilities: lounge beds, umbrellas, several restaurants and bars, massages, stores, lockers, showers, lifeguards and security.
Activities: pedalos, boat and catamaran rentals, kitesurfing at nearby Es Palmador and a diving school.
Size: 1.5 kilometers long and about 25-30 meters wide.
