San Vincent beach is about 400 meters long and about 25 meters wide. It is the longest beach in San Juan, Cala San Vicente or Cala Cala sa Maians and is located 10 kilometers from San Juan.
The golden sandy beach is overgrown with palm trees, offers views eastward, and lies in a wide U-shaped bay, bordered by high rocks that shelter the beach from wind. The seabed consists of sand, boulders and rocks, slopes gradually and 30 meters from the shore the crystal clear, calm water is only 2 meters deep, so you can swim here wonderfully and safely. There is a secluded swimming area and between May 15 and Oct. 15, there is a lifeguard here daily, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. In the beautiful, surrounding nature reserve you can take wonderful walks and enjoy spectacular views of the deep blue sea, or the rolling green hills with vast pine forests and valleys. The beach is wheelchair accessible, offers ample parking, a car-free boardwalk, and services such as sunbeds and umbrellas, showers and toilets. Therefore, in the summer you can practice a multitude of sports activities here, such as: water sports like snorkeling, sailing, swimming and boating, and you can rent pedal boats and canoes. All around, vacationers will find bars, hotels, restaurants, stores and all kinds of activities, including for children. Off-season, it is wonderfully quiet here, but there are few amenities.
The beach at cala Sant Vincent can be reached in two ways. For a road without too many curves, follow the signs from San Juan. For the winding route with fantastic views, follow the coastal road, which gives spectacular views of the bay. The bus stop is 50 meters away.
