Islanders work their asses off during the summer months, sometimes working as many as three jobs at once. But in exchange for their hard work, they enjoy weeks of freedom in the off-season. Ibiza is inhabited by many Catholic residents, because of this, a lot of value is placed on holidays such as Christmas. Streets are beautifully decorated during this period and squares are decorated with Christmas trees. There are also parades because of the Three Kings which is celebrated on January 6, this day is similar to our St. Nicholas parade/evening. In other words, island culture definitely grabs you these months.

9. Radiant through the winter
