Popular Ibiza wine bar changes concept
We knew Vino & Co for years as a wine bar with the stylish liquor store in Can Bellotera, on the road to Sant Josep. Founded by Jeroen and Rosa Hamersma in 2009.

Villa Casa Tranquila is your own paradise in Ibiza! Here you will have little noise and enjoy an oasis of tranquility.
Over the years, Vino & Co has become a household name in Ibiza.
We, as “all year round” Ibiza residents, sat there every winter on Tuesdays and/or Fridays to socialize with a good glass of wine and a small menu of appetizers.
The concept: you can choose from 25 different open wines served by the glass, but there is also the option to pick any bottle from the liquor store shelves. You then pay the retail price plus a 10 euro corkage fee. Great when we sat there with our friends over drinks and shared a bottle, as we got to know more and more fine wines.

The shelves contain a choice of about 300 different wines, making it a walhalla for wine lovers.
You can also drink handcrafted craft beer and Vino & Co has the largest selection of sake on the island. Daughter Rosa graduated cum laude as a Sake Sommelier.
But since the summer of 2018, the team at Vino & Co has added a new employee, Rodney Lime, with years of experience as a chef and private chef in Ibiza. During the day, the wine store is open as usual, but from 5 p.m. you can now dine there as well! The menu is extensive and includes nice dishes, about the same size as an appetizer in a normal restaurant, big enough to share.
There were four of us and we chose the following six dishes:
Boat Rental & Car Rental Ibiza
Thanks to our local knowledge, we offer boat and car rentals in addition to cozy homes. Explore Ibiza’s coves from the water or its roads in style.
Oysters from Don Ostra,
Chiperones (small squid) with puffed potato and parsley garlic dressing,
Foie gras with apple and red onion chutney in Cognac sauce,
Humus with beet, sweet potato and balsamic,
Smoked salmon with creme fraiche and herring roe
… and for dessert pear with rocquefort, sliced ham and balsamic with a glass of sake.
Our “food experience” accompanied by perfectly matched wines and sake lasted three cozy hours and left us feeling super satisfied. Add to that the colorful group of locals seated at the outdoor table, always up for conversation or sharing a bottle or dish, and our evening at Vino & Co couldn’t have gone wrong!
