Hippie Market Benirras
The small market at the beautiful beach of Benirras is well worth a visit. Not especially for the products sold, but for the friendly atmosphere. And very good to combine with the San Juan market, and lunch at Elements or “the drummers of Benirras.” These drummers start drumming as early as two hours before sunset with a climactic music and dance the moment the sun hits the horizon. Often after sunset, drummers get all zen and there is a lot of meditation or fire-eaters perform. This market is held in summer every Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from noon to 10 pm.
