Cala Pada
Location: East
Located on the east side of Ibiza, about halfway between Santa Eulalia and Es Canar, you will find the beautiful beach of Cala Pada. The beautiful pearly white sand beach, about 200 meters long and 10 meters wide, slopes gently down to the crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean Sea. Because of the reefs just offshore, which protect the bay, Cala Pada is also a very popular spot for windsurfers, when the wind comes from the south.
A beautiful wooden pier extends far into the water and on the wide sandy beach you will find sun loungers and umbrellas, making Cala Pada beach very pleasant even in the hottest moments of the day. While lying on the beach you can enjoy the beautiful picturesque view of the bay which is framed by green pines rising above the red rocks against the hills.
At the back of Cala Pada beach you will find three restaurants with large terraces where you can enjoy a snack in the shade or a cool drink around noon, or where you can dine in the evening while enjoying the beautiful view. The beach is great for families with children, who can enjoy playing in the shallow water along the beach. And for enthusiasts, there is also a small beach boutique.
This beautiful beach is also very popular with vacationers staying at the Cala Pada resort and parking is not always easy at Cala Pada, especially in high season. We therefore recommend reaching the beach by bus or bicycle. You can also choose to walk along the coast (about two kilometers) from Santa Eulalia or Es Cana.
