In Ibiza, locations of businesses are often indicated by the number of kilometers you have to drive counting from the largest town. A very famous one is “KM5,” the beautiful restaurant which is then 5 kilometers from Ibiza town on the road to Sant Josep.

Restaurant Cas Costas, Grill & Organic market is located 4.4 kilometers from Ibiza town. Near the village of San Jordi on the road to Sant Josep. The old finca with vegetable garden was bought in 2016 by German Christian Braun, also owner of the trendy beach clubs Tanit and Nassau, among others.

Perhaps that’s why our expectations were high in terms of interior design. But we did not quite understand what exactly they wanted to convey with this mix&match style. Besides lovely lounge sofas, beautiful high doors and trendy wicker lamps, they also have a kind of “old farmhouse furniture” with uncomfortable high chairs.

The food is very good, if you like fresh meat and fish from the Josper oven. In addition, they use vegetables and herbs from their own garden, and there is even a nice supermarket in the parking lot with organic produce.

Cas Costas also has a children’s menu of burgers or chicken nuggets with fries, and if the kids are tired of the long dinner, there is also a playground next to the parking lot where they can climb a wooden pirate castle.
