Trendy beaches in Ibiza
What are the hot spots in terms of beaches on the island? We looked at where the, in our opinion, most popular beach clubs are located. Ibiza is unique in that respect, with such a large number of beautifully decorated beach clubs in such beautiful locations. You find them mostly in the west, south, and some in the southeast of the island.
Cala Jondal is not very special in terms of the beach. There are many large boulders and it is not really possible to swim easily. What makes this beach popular are the beach clubs present. Starting with the Blue Marlin, longtime fixture of the Ibiza jet set. Especially on Sundays highly recommended to go. Other popular spots include Yemanja and Tropicana.
Cala Bassa is a beautiful large cove. The trendy beach club CBBC covers much of this bay. Think luxurious balinese loungers and outstanding dining. This is also a very fun spot for children. Cala Bassa Beach Club has several terraces, lounge areas and restaurants. Ideal for spending an afternoon.
A popular beach in the west of Ibiza. This is partly because of the fantastic sunsets here. The best place to experience this in Sunset Ashram. The sand here is fine and snow white, what makes Cala Conta really special is the clarity of the water. No other beach in Ibiza has such clear water as here
Las Salinas is one of the largest and most famous beach on the island. There are a number of popular beach clubs located here such as Guarana, Malibu, Jockey Club and Sa Trinxa. There is a lot of space to lie down and there are also many beach beds available. Also fun is the parade of promogirls from various clubs during the high season. A very popular spot of the rich & famous around the world.
Playa den Bossa
Not all of Playa den Bossa we think is a trendy beach. Especially some north of Bora Bora, we do not recommend. Personally, we like it from Sir Rocco to the south. Here are popular beach clubs like Beachouse and Coco beach. Playa den Bossa has seen many changes over the past few years. In particular, many new high-end restaurants and clubs have opened.

Es Niu Blau, Cala Llenya, Cala Llonga, Cala Bassa, Cala Tarida, Cala San Vicent and Es Figueral are known for being child-friendly. Here we pay particular attention to a good beach with soft sand, accessibility (so not too far to walk from the parking lot), whether the beach slopes gently, and thus does not get very deep all at once. And preferably also with some extra facilities for parents.
Benirras, Cala Xaracca and Portinatx are not just any beaches; they are the gems of northern Ibiza.
