Terms and conditions OneVillasIbiza
These general terms and conditions - which may be modified from time to time - apply to all services made available online, by e-mail or by phone. By making a reservation through our website, you acknowledge and agree that you have read, understood and consented to the general terms and conditions below.
One of a Kind Travel is an intermediary and makes reservations for you with regard to accommodations and car rental. Your satisfaction is our priority! If anything is not to your satisfaction, we would be delighted to address it with you personally so as to come up with a proper solution.
After you have completed our booking form, the holiday home will be reserved for you (upon the accommodation providers approval), and the documentation of your booking will be sent to you by e-mail. With the realization of this agreement, you are obliged to a 30% (in some cases 50%) down payment of the total rental price. This down payment needs to be transferred within 2 days after receiving this agreement. The rest of the outstanding amount (70%) needs to be paid 6 weeks prior to arrival. Bookings that take place before 6 weeks of arrival need to be paid in full, and need to be transferred to our bank account directly after receiving the invoice and this agreement. When the sum is not paid in time, the client is in neglect: We then have the right to cancel the reservation.
The agreed price for the rental consists of the rental price and sometimes an extra administration fee (included in the total price).
Note: It is possible to pay with credit card or via PayPal. If paid via one of these methods, we are obliged to add an extra 1,5% (credit card) or 3,4% (Paypal) transaction fee to the rental price.
Starting the 1st of July 2016, the Spanish government will implement a tourism tax. This is €2,20 per person per night, for persons 16 years or older.
Scope of our service
Through this website, we (One of a Kind Travel, via its website www.onevillasibiza.co.uk) are offering an online platform where holiday property owners in Ibiza (accommodation providers) are able to put up their home for rent on a holiday basis and where you, as a site visitor, can make reservations. If you make a reservation on www.onevillasibiza.co.uk, you are entering into a (contractually binding) relationship with the accommodation provider whose property you are renting. We will only act as an intermediary between you and the accommodation provider.
Please note that when you book a house via our website, you are bound by our terms and conditions, including our cancellation policy and other booking conditions as described on this page.
Our services may only be used for personal and non-commercial use. Therefore, it is not permitted to resell, screen (e.g. spider, scrape), reproduce, deep link, use, copy, show or download any (substantive) information, products or services whatsoever that are offered on our website for whatever commercial or competitive goal.
The caution deposit needs either to be paid in Euros per bank transfer or to be paid cash (and sometimes per credit card) on the day of arrival. This will differ per house. The exact amount and the way of payment can be found on your invoice. When paid per bank transfer, we will return the deposit (minus possible damage costs) per bank transfer within 2 weeks of departure. We can not be held liable for any exchange rate losses. When paid cash on the day of arrival it will be returned to you on the day of departure (minus possible damages). The house needs to be in the same state as the day of arrival and keys need to be delivered before 10.00 at the date of departure. When you arrive, please check if there is any damage. If the home is found to be damaged upon check-out, we hold on to your deposit until the costs of the damage has been determined.
Upon arrival, we ask you to immediately check your home; if there is any damage please report this immediately to your contact person, otherwise we will be forced to bring the damage into account plus a fee of € 25, - (service costs). If any damage occurs during your stay, please contact your property person immediately so they can see the damage and can calculate the costs.
Liability One of a Kind Travel:
When One of a Kind Travel is forced to cancel a reservation due to unforeseeable circumstances, One of a Kind Travel will try to find a house with similar characteristics. If this is not possible or you do not accept the new house offered, we will refund your payment without any further compensation.
One of a Kind Travel does not accept any liability for damages or personal injury that occurred during your stay. Also we accept no liability due to changed conditions in or around the house that we can't be taken responsible for. This includes construction work. All our houses are solely rented out for holiday purposes. Professional photography, parties or weddings in and around the house is only allowed after our explicit permission.
On the day of departure, you have to check out before 10.00 am. The keys needs to be returned to your contact person between 9.00 and 12.00 am, except if you have agreed upon a different time. Please respect our rules, so we can keep a good functioning system. When you are dealing against our policies, we will be forced to deduct € 200,- from your caution deposit.
The Ibiza Actual regulation does not allow the organization of private parties in houses. If parties are organized without informing us or the owner of the house, all fines and payments shall be paid by you, the client. Parties and other such social gatherings organized without our prior consent may result in forfeiture of the entire security deposit.
Almost all our houses are situated in rural areas where you will need a car to move around. Taxi and public transport is most of the times not around and not very reliable. Let us know if you would like to rent a car with us.
In your house is no telephone. We recommend to take your mobile phone with you so you can contact us.
It is highly recommended to remove your garbage each day. You can find disposal bins on the main roads. Please take into account that many houses are situated in the country side, and that if you leave garbage around the house, it will attract all kind of wildlife. On the day of departure, please remove your garbage, or we have to charge you € 40,-.
Bed linen and towels
Bed linen and towels are included in the rental price of the house.
On the day of departure you will leave the house in the same state as it was when you arrived. The kitchen, BBQ and all the cutlery that belongs to it, needs to cleaned and put in place. You don't need to vaccuum clean or scrub the house, the end cleaning is included in the rent. Nonetheless, everything needs to be put in place, and all garbage need to be taken out. If this is not the case, we are forced to charge you € 100,-.
In case you lost the keys, we will charge you the costs for replacement. Please note that this sometimes can be expensive since we might need to change the locks, and print new keys and order new alarm sets.
Furniture and other properties:
It is forbidden to change the way the furniture is placed. The tenant will accept the house as it is and the way the furniture is placed. Furniture is only allowed to be used for the purpose it was designed for. If furniture is missing or damaged, because of misuse, the repair or newly bought furniture needs to be paid by you, the client.
Every house is designed for a maximum number of people. It is not allowed to have more people in the house then agreed upon. The tenant is responsible for the amount of people in the house. In case you fail to do so, we have the right to take appropriate measures: evacuating the house, or an extra charge of € 150 per night per person.
Every cancellation of a booking must be notified to us via email and will entail some costs. In case of a "no show" the costs will be 100% of the renting costs.Furthermore the costs of a cancellation will be calculated as follows:
- Any cancellation more than 42 days prior to arrival: 30% or 50% of the total rental costs. This differs per house. You can find the specific cancellation policy per house on the webpage of the house under "Further information about this property" -> "Cancellation".
- Any cancellation between 42 and 28 days prior to arrival: 60% or 100% of the total rental costs, also depending on the specific cancellation policy of the house.
- Any cancellation less than 28 days prior to arrival: 100% of the total rental costs.
Special Coronavirus cancellation policy:
When your trip can not take place because of the lockdown due to the coronavirus, and your trip can be rebooked to another date, the following cancellation policy applies:
After we have rebooked your booking to a later date, the balance needs to be paid within a week and no restitution for a cancellation applies anymore. This means, a cancellation will costs 100% of the total rental costs.
It is also not possible to again rebook your new booking at a later stage. This cancellation policy applies.
Third party services:
One of a Kind Travel offers some additional services and guarantees the reliability of these services. The contact for these services is done directly between you (the client) and service provider i.e. boats, cooks etc, see page "Services". One of a Kind Travel is not responsible for any conflicts between the client and the service provider.
All houses that we offer meet the standards we have set, taking into account our taste of the design and furniture of the house. When you have the feeling something is not in order, please contact our local contact directly. Is the problem not solved correctly, please contact us (+44 20 3514 8361). We will do all we can to solve the problem. If you leave the house without our permission, all rights for compensation will cease to be valid. Please, if you still have complaints, you should make this clear on paper or via the email, and let our local contact know. Within 14 days of departure of your rental house, you should let us know via email. When this is not done in the way as stated above, we can not take care of your complaint.
Prices are subject to change without prior notice. You can not derive any rights from prices shown on the website.
Extra costs for a baby cot are € 5,- per day. Extra costs for a baby chair are € 2,50 per day.
Blockage of filters:
The tenant will not throw anything in the toilets, showers, sinks, drains etc. so the drainage system can be blocked. If this is the case, the tenant is responsible for the costs to repair the damage.
And at last:
The tenant will treat the house, as if it were his own house.
