Taking kids to Ibiza
When you think of Ibiza, you probably aren't as quick to assume it's a child friendly island. Many people see it as a place where the most awesome parties go on. But Ibiza is much more than that! It is ultimately child friendly, and that makes it the perfect destination to visit with (small) children. On this page, you will find tips for a wonderful, uncomplicated holiday in Ibiza together with your kids.
Kid friendly villas
Even at OneVillasIbiza, we've kept the little ones in mind. We offer various kid friendly villas for a comfortable stay on the island. These villas, for example, come with a kid's bed, protective fencing around the pool, and a large lawn to play in. The houses below come with all the modern conveniences and are ideal for a stay with kids in Ibiza.
Cybele is a lovely villa with many games like foosball, billiards, table tennis, PS 3, Wii, and more. Outdoors you will find two mini-playgrounds and a trampoline. Of course there is also a lovely pool.
Casa Julie is a house with an amazingly large yard to play in! There is also a Ping-Pong table.
Can Racoa, a brilliant house with gardens just as brilliant. It would truly be a mecca for fun-time with the kids. In the gardens, there is a tree hut with hammocks. There are many types of fruit trees spread throughout the gardens. What might also be amusing is the jeu-des-boules track! The pool is heated, in which case it would be relaxation station during somewhat colder days.
Viejo, a more than 400-year-old Spanish cottage. For the itty bitty ones, Viejo has a fence surrounding the pool.
A perfect family house! At Can Vildu, a fence could also be placed in front of the pool. In the gardens, there are many different sorts of fruit trees. In addition, there is a pizza oven available. Nice for baking a freshly homemade pizza, made with your kid.
Can Rumani is a wonderfully located country home. The pool is heated and there is also a ping pong table and table football available. The gardens are spacious in layout and truly wonderful.
Naldo is a rurally located house with grand gardens. It's all the space in the world to play!
Sitges has lovely gardens that lend it perfectly to playing hide and seek. It is possible to put fencing around the pool. There are also many fruit trees to snack on.
Jaumet is an old Spanish cottage with a pool that can be surrounded by fencing.

El Paso has a fence surrounding the pool and for bigger kids, there is a tennis court. Parents can enjoy beautiful views!
Beautiful rock cliffs, shallow waters, and fun watersports activities, Ibiza is home to various family beaches where you and your kids can amuse yourselves to your heart's content. We've highlighted the nicest family beaches below.
Cala Llenya, a large and wide beach. This offers you complete freedom for kids who like to play. The water stays shallow for quite some distance and the water is crystal clear. It's nice to combine with a day in Las Dalias.
Cala Bassa is an extremely nice beach for kids. The low rock cliffs near the water make it fun for kids to seek out little crabs etc. During the season, you can also rent banana boats and water bikes. Furthermore, there are many fir trees for hiding behind during a game of hide and seek.
Cala d'en Serra, a small beach located in the north. Away from the masses, and definitely within walking distance. This beach is often somewhat quieter than other beaches on the island. This makes it nice for kids to explore in and around the bay.
Cala Nova, a long stretch of sandy beach with much room for kids to play in.
Cala Tarida, a family beach in its own right. Long and wide with extremely fine sand. You'll find most of your kids hanging around the mini islands in the water.
Es Cavallet a lovely, outstretched sandy beach, which is very kid friendly, behind the saltpans of Ibiza. The nice thing about this is that you can grab lunch or a quick drink at the hip El Chiringuito beach club. For the little ones, there is little chiringuito, a space where kids can do crafts, paint, make armbands or just play in the sand under supervision of a kids counselor. This way you can have lunch... and relax... without any worries!
Kid friendly restaurants
On the island, there are also plenty of kid friendly restaurants that have a kid's menu, (mini-)playground or entertainment. We have highlighted the nicest restaurants for you.
Elements, located on the beach of Benirras. Lovely for kids to play at the adjoining beach while waiting on dishes to be served. Elements also has an adorable Boutique shop inside.
The Giri Cafe has been one of our favorites for quite some time! We highly recommend going here with kids for lunch. The gardens are delightful with vegetables cultivated here. A day in North Ibiza is incomplete without a visit to The Girl.
Can Domingo, delightful outdoor dining in a rustic environment. Can Domingo is simple food made especially with homegrown vegetables. It's perfect for kids to roam through the elaborate gardens.
La Paloma comes highly recommended for visiting with kids. Everything is freshly made with organic products from the island. The comfy outdoor restaurant is located in a delightful garden full of flowers and citrus trees, where kids can run and swing. They also give kids a coloring page and something to color with. You can have lunch as well as dine there. Reservations are highly recommended.
Activities with kids
When your kids want to do something else for once besides hang out on the beach, there are enough fun activities to experience on the island. We have highlighted a number of activities below.
This brilliant waterpark is situated near the beach of Playa d'en Bossa. In this water park, there are various water skating rinks, large swimming pools, a playground, relaxation zones and a restaurant. In short, a paradise for the kids!
